The conflict between Warsaw and Kiev around Nazification is based on Poland’s fear of a revival of the European Nazism with an apparently German face, the leader of the Essence of Time movement, political scientist and philosopher Sergey Kurginyan said on July 10 on the Conversation with a Sage program on Radio Zvezda.
“Indeed, Poland suffered too much from the Nazis, so a revival of the European Nazism with an apparently German face makes them cringe,” Kurginyan said.
The philosopher noted that this is what accounts for Poland’s arguments against addressing Bandera too much and its calls for Ukraine to be “civilized people.” According to the political scientist, this is based, among other things, on Poland’s fear that it will not be admitted into such a fascistization and that at best it will have a role of “Warsaw governorate.” At the same time, Warsaw does not want to give up the Russophobic ideas of Polish politician Józef Piłsudski.
“And then we have to acknowledge that Poland fears Germany, not Ukraine. It fears Germany terribly. Terribly!” the political scientist stressed.
The leader of Essence of Time added that as soon as people with historical memory about the Teutons or the Swedes appear the Poles begin to “cringe.” Also, a too strong rise of Germany is something the UK fears, too, because it will not accept any sort of consolidation on the continent.
Kurginyan noted that the question is even more urgent with the US: it is not clear what US President Donald Trump wants, whether he wants something by himself or he is being controlled, and who is superior in the system of those who control and those who are controlled. In any event, however, according to the political scientist, tension appears around the question who is supposed to rule within Piłsudski’s concept of Trimarium.
Kurginyan believes that radicalization in Ukraine and its internal political tension are focused on a simple question of who is supposed to establish himself as a Fuhrer but not as a democratic leader. To this end, according to him, Kiev has to completely cancel even any remnants of democracy and promote something else.
“And Zelensky tells the military, ‘Take me. I will do everything you want. Drear minority, make me the dictator!’” Kurginyan says.
The political scientist stressed that a permanent transition from any relics of democracy to a blatant form of fascism is only possible through raising the military factor.
According to the philosopher, the statements by the Kiev regime about “40 days of forcing Russia to peace” mean an intention to escalate the war by any means including heavy missiles.
“By any means, including heavy missiles, they need to escalate the war, to make it increasingly intense,” Kurginyan concluded.
