Kurginyan explains what worries China about Russia’s behavior

China has a strategy and metaphysics, while modern Russia acts appropriate to a situation, philosopher, political scientist, and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said on April 25 on the Right to Know program on the TVC channel.

According to him, China is a country with its own metaphysics and strategy. “At the business level and in other spheres, China can act as it pleases – it can be tough, it can behave as predator, focusing entirely on profiteering, grabbing what it can get. But at some metaphysically strategic level, it behaves differently,” the political scientist emphasized.

And then, China faces a question that constantly hovers in the air for Russia: “Are you with them, or with us?” In other words, when will Russia finally make up its mind and no longer cherish the hope of integrating into the West, Sergey Kurginyan notes.

But if “Russia acts situationally” and focuses solely on profit, then why should the Chinese “put all their money into the Russian basket?” the leader of the Essence of Time movement posed a question.

The analyst explained that the Chinese have a very specific approach to this strategic metaphysical certainty. China observed with great bitterness and amazement the collapse of the Soviet Union and certain constants of our policy in the 1990s. However, I must say that Yeltsin and Jiang Zemin were very friendly even then. It wasn’t like Russia had suddenly severed ties with China,” the political scientist added.

Now China is carefully observing Russian policy and wants to understand whether it should rely entirely on Russia and whether it maneuver toward the West is ruled out, Sergey Kurginyan concludes.

According to Kurginyan, long-time KGB Chairman Yuri Andropov and the elites associated with him had a plan for the controlled disintegration of the USSR, according to which most of the national territories must be separated from the country so that Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus could join Europe.

However, the disintegration of the USSR occurred in such a way that Ukraine, Belarus, and Russia became separate states. Then, the Western elite told the Russian leadership that Russia was too large a country and could only be accepted into Europe in parts. However, the Russian leadership refused to dismantle Russia. This crisis in relations with the West led to Russian President Vladimir Putin’s Munich speech in 2007.
