According to some of the most notorious officials of the US administration, only the rule of force is effective in the world, the leader of the Essence of Time movement, political scientist and philosopher Sergey Kurginyan said on January 23 on the Conversation with a Sage program on Radio Zvezda.
The political scientist noted that the situation with the seizure of President of Venezuela Nicolás Maduro by the US took place before the eyes of the whole world. This means that “everything is allowed.”
“And the officials in the US, for whom the most measured definition is scum, insist that only force matters. There is no international law etc. There is only force,” Kurginyan explained.
“And the whole world hears that? Is everyone happy with that? And against whom will force be used tomorrow? Against the Danish leader?” the political scientist asked.
Sergey Kurginyan reminded about the recent statement by UK State for Defense John Healey that if he could seize any leader he would like to seize President of Russia Vladimir Putin.
“Could that take place in the Soviet era? Is that possible at all? Who has gone mad here?” the leader of Essence of Time wondered.
At the same time Kurginyan indicated that the behavior of the Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro differed from that of the legendary President of Chile Salvador Allende (1970-1973) who, when General Augusto Pinochet committed the CIA-inspired coup d’etat, fought with a rifle in his hands until his last minute and did not surrender alive.
“This is war. This is the president (Maduro – Rossa Primavera News Agency). Does not he have an F1 grenade with him? Just for the Delta Force not to think that life is all wine and roses?” he stressed.
However, in Venezuela it was different. There, according to Kurginyan, everything “is based on lies and some kind of internal ambiguity,” and it did not happen the way it is presented.
“And secondly, this establishes an absolutely new format of the world. Everything that was valid yesterday has been dismissed. The officials, these somewhat insane ultra-conservatives, say that only force matters in the world,” the leader of Essence of Time said, and he explained that within this pattern it is strange to talk about “the spirit of Anchorage” because tomorrow Trump can feel disappointed with Putin, not Maduro.
In the beginning of January, White House deputy chief of staff and homeland security advisor Stephen Miller in an interview to CNN said that the US is a superpower and it will conduct itself accordingly.
“We live in a world in which you can talk all you want about international niceties and everything else, but we live in a world, in the real world … that is governed by strength, that is governed by force, that is governed by power. These are the iron laws of the world,” Miller said.
