No casualties on the US side during the seizure of President of Venezuela Nicolás Maduro is a strange fact in this operation, the leader of the Essence of Time movement, political scientist and philosopher Sergey Kurginyan said on January 23 on the Conversation with a Sage program on Radio Zvezda.
According to the analyst, one important issue must be addressed when discussing the seizure of Maduro by the US military.
“A number of Cuban heroes, and I am sure they are real heroes, were killed during this operation [the seizure of Maduro]. Can anyone say that, whatever technical superiority you have, you can kill Cubans, including those from Fidel’s security service, <…> without losing twice as many?” Kurginyan wondered.
The political scientist stressed that he did not believe that not a single US serviceman was killed during the seizure of Maduro.
“This means that either they simply never left their helicopters, and the two [Maduro and his wife] were brought to them, or there were dead bodies because it was not Delta or US military but a proxy. A contracted one. It can be a foreign legion or another party whose bodies can be ignored,” the analyst said.
Kurginyan reiterated that it was technologically impossible that the Cubans were killed defending Maduro without killing a single US serviceman.
“The Russians are great soldiers when it comes to major wars like the Great Patriotic War under a very peculiar government. Among large nations it is also the Germans. As for minor nations who can brilliantly fight, it is the Pukhtuns as number one and the Cubans as number two. This is known from Angola and elsewhere. They will not die without killing some of the other party. This is impossible,” the political scientist stressed.
On January 3, US President Donald Trump said that President of Venezuela Nicolás Maduro and his wife were successfully seized and taken abroad as a result of a major operation.
On January 5, the Cuban government reported that 32 Cuban servicemen were killed in Venezuela where they were responsible for protecting Maduro upon a request of the Venezuelan government, commemorating them with two-day mourning.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio confirmed the involvement of Cuban military servicemen during Maduro’s seizure, and Trump said many Cubans were killed while the US suffered no casualties.
