It is impossible to capture alive the president of state if he does not want to surrender alive, philosopher, political analyst, and leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on January 11 in his original broadcast Destiny.
According to the political analyst, what seems suspicious about the capture of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro is that US military forces killed only a relatively small number of the leader of state’s security. The philosopher is convinced that a national leader should be guarded by such a number of people, and the security structure itself should be built with so many levels, that no special unit like the US Delta Force could completely eliminate it.
In the philosopher’s view, the fact that most of those killed during the capture of Maduro were reportedly hired Cubans also raises questions. If the Venezuelan president’s security consisted of several levels, it is unclear what kind of resistance the others offered.
“They killed 30 Cubans. And the others [Venezuelan security service personnel]? And where is the two-day mourning for them in Venezuela?” Kurginyan asked.
Essence of Time‘s leader noted that despite the fact that modern combat equipment used by the United States is capable of suppressing an adversary’s air defenses, sooner or later any such operation enters a phase of direct human contact, in which technological superiority no longer plays a decisive role.
“Was this [additional] security not Cuban, or did it not exist? No matter how much one may grieve for Maduro, if he did not arrange it, then Maduro is nothing more than a fool,” Sergey Kurginyan stated.
The political analyst also drew attention to one strange statement made earlier by Nicolás Maduro.
“And what did Maduro’s old statements mean: ‘You let me go with the money and everything, and we’ll leave…’? Is that how one fights?” he noted.
Sergey Kurginyan recalled that another Latin American leader – the former president of Chile, Salvador Allende – died during a military coup with a rifle in his hands.
“Did Mr. Maduro not have an ‘F-1 hand grenade’ just in case? Where did they capture him? How did they breach the bunker? So he wasn’t in the bunker? You cannot capture alive a president by attacking a special facility if he does not want to be taken alive, and if he does want that, then he is not Allende, and certainly not Castro,” the political analyst concluded.
