Kurginyan: The United States want to change, but Trump won’t be the one to implement this

To preserve its hegemony, the United States must reform American society. President Donald Trump is incapable of this, but more radical forces could replace him and give it a try, philosopher, political scientist, and leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said on December 13 on the TVC program Right to Know.

“We consider society as something given and constant. But what kind of a person is necessary to accomplish changes in a society? the philosopher asked. He emphasized that the issue of social changes is fundamental.

Trump represents the will of those who can be called – viable America,” Kurginyan stated. “Viable America” chose Trump without even trying to understand what he really is; it just decided that someone like Trump is better than what came before him.

Against all odds, the will of viable America brought this Trump to power. Despite everything, the nation chose the path of survival. It realized that another Biden would be a complete disaster, the political scientist explained.

This part of the United States wants to stay alive, but the question is what can Trump do? “Hes a fairly moderate politician, always very focused on enjoying life. Very animated,” Kurginyan described the US president.

The philosopher emphasized that Trump had already become entangled in his support groups. Some of them support Israel, others are against it; some are backing Ukraine, others are against it.

In his “Make America Great Again” (MAGA) concept, Trump assumes that the US citizen of the 1950s must be revived. “The one who rolls up the sleeves, starts working at factories, generates excess profits, competes, joins the army, worships God. Meanwhile, in reality, there are hardly any such citizens left,” Kurginyan emphasized.

This kind of a citizen no longer exists in large numbers, and it won’t be Trump who will create it, the political scientist noted. He explained that his research organization, the Experimental Creative Center International Social Foundation, was unpleasantly surprised to discover “an unexpected role of Opus Dei in the United States, for example.

The philosopher noted that, in essence, Opus Dei can be described as a kind of conservative lodge, whose role is growing and various Protestant sects are merging with it. “All we really see is a tilt towards radical Catholicism,” the political scientist noted.

Kurginyan emphasized that if these movements gain a leader, they could implement drastic changes in the United States. “Americans will not give up. They want to survive. They cannot live without being a hegemon. This must be remembered once and for all. To them, life means hegemony,” the political scientist stated.

The philosopher noted that any other way of existence is impossible for the United States. “The money printer and the aircraft carriers. Aircraft carriers are to force everyone use dollars; money printer is for dollar emission,” Kurginyan recalled the formula for American power.
