China is making an economic expansion across the globe according to Xi Jinping’s concept using huge money to buy everything it can, the leader of the Essence of Time movement, political scientist and philosopher Sergey Kurginyan said on October 17 on the Conversation with a Sage program on Radio Zvezda.
It does so according to the statement by Deng Xiaoping, “It doesn’t matter if a cat is black or white, as long as it catches mice.” He stressed that China buys loyalty of various countries including Brazil and Colombia, the latter being much richer in drugs than Venezuela. Kurginyan noted that even US’ traditional allies in Latin America such as Argentina begin to feel concerned.
“And when they raised tension up to an intervention and it became clear that this bell tolls to everyone, even those in Latin America who were ready to lick US’ boots, e.g. Argentina that took its money, begin to feel concerned because it remains unclear what will happen to them,” he explained.
According to the philosopher, any military operation will have two steps. At the first step the US will have “a glorious victory” demonstrating the power of its “great army and aircraft carriers and various helicopter carriers, destroyers, submarines etc.”
At the second step the US will be bogged down in Latin American jungle for a longer time than it remained in Vietnam and with much more shameful consequences.
“And solely the Venezuelans will be enough for that. There are many of them, they are tough enough, the army stands for Chávez, they have a paramilitary structure which is allegedly 12 million strong, it is very big. Therefore, they will blow up and destroy everything,” the political scientist explained.
Kurginyan also reminded that María Corina Machado, a renowned Venezuelan opposition activist awarded with the Nobel Peace Prize 2005, suggested that provocations against Chinese and domestic facilities be made in order to escalate the conflict.
“This lady proposed acts of terrorism, and not only against Chinese mining companies in Venezuela but also against domestic ones, in order to finally start the war. She is quite the character,” the leader of Essence of Time noted.
