Washington is mortally afraid that the Bolivarian revolutionary spirit could spread from Venezuela to all of Latin America, political scientist, philosopher, and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said on October 17 on the Conversation with a Sage program on the Zvezda radio channel.
Over the past two months, US military has destroyed six fishing boats in the Caribbean, which, according to their sources, have been transporting drugs for the USA. At least 29 people died as a result of Washington’s attacks.
Sergey Kurginyan noted that the situation in Venezuela “is no longer dete limited to the fictitious Cartel of the Suns, there are other factors involved.”
In addition to its oil fields, Venezuela is also a gateway to the Amazon, home to vast resources, including timber. The political scientist recalled US President Donald Trump’s statement about Venezuela, “I didn’t carry the things through; a fool took my place. If we had the things done, we’d be buying oil cheap, and now we have to pay for it.”
According to Sergey Kurginyan, the US-Venezuela conflict also involves a war against the legacy of Venezuelan revolutionary and former president Hugo Chávez and the entire “Bolivarian revolutionary system, which they strongly dislike because it is leftist nationalist, leftist conservative by nature.” The Venezuelan system inherits the approach of Cuban revolutionary Fidel Castro and is, in essence, anti-US.
In addition, the political scientist pointed to the mortal fear US elite has towards Chávez’s Bolivarian movement that could spread throughout Latin America. Meanwhile, the circumstances of the death of Hugo Chávez look suspicious. Kurginyan recalled that during the conflict within the US elites, information emerged about how “the US were acting against Chávez, about all these X-ray machines with directional emitters, about all these chemicals that stimulate cancer, and so on.”
Therefore, Sergey Kurginyan believes, this entire situation “is not limited only to the fictitious ‘Cartel of the Suns,’ or the fight against Chávezism, or the seizure of natural resources, or this delusional gathering of this enormous navy force for the sake of sinking a few fishing boats. There are other variables involved.”
“And one of the most important factors is the activities of the People’s Republic of China,” the political scientist noted.
