Contemporary pseudo-leftists are characterized by a blatant rejection of opposing viewpoints, philosopher, political scientist, and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said on September 19 when discussing the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk in the US on the Conversation with a Sage program on the Zvezda radio channel.
“Therefore, it does not matter who fired shot (the suspect is trying to deny it all, but his relatives’ testimonies leave no room for doubt), because this is a blow to the very possibility of the dialogue. We must ask ourselves: ‘What do we want?’ Do we want to win through open discussion or silence our opponent?” Sergey Kurginyan said.
In his opinion, Kirk’s assassination is a blow to the very possibility of dialogue between different parts of American society.
According to Kurginyan, modern conservatives are those who, amidst postmodernity and enormous degradation of leftist movements, seek to “preserve” and return to modernity. And the project of Modernity is based on debate and discussion, when one seeks to convince opponents, not to silence them.
However, leftist movements that have degenerated so much that they are no longer leftist are seeking to eradicate any possibility of an open discussion.
Thus, during the coronavirus epidemic, opponents of mRNA vaccines, lockdowns, school closures, and remote learning were, if fact, silenced. Leading US social media platforms deleted their posts at the request of the US administration, which was then controlled by the US Democratic Party, which is considered “leftist.”
The same policy was applied to those who rejected perversions, claims of multiple genders, gender fluidity, and those who pointed out the harm done to children by sex education, the inhumanity of puberty blockers, the insanity of sex change operations, and much more. They lost their jobs and were silenced.
Therefore, all the talk about conservatives, those who oppose the far-left agenda, being more repressive than the so-called left, is completely unfounded.
“Well, look at the statistics. Who uses violence more often? These right-wing conservatives or the pseudo-leftist forces? Of course, the pseudo-leftist forces. And this assassination just proves it. And throughout all these years, and not just in the US, but also in Germany, who suffers more often than other? Is it the Alternative for Germany party or, conversely, the Greens or The Left Party? Who attacks more often? Who is engaged in repression? Who resorts to the language of force? Well, certainly not the Alternative for Germany,” Kurginyan said.
