The Armenian leaders know how to shift power in the country when they want to, so if Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan remains at power it means they do not want to remove him, the leader of the Essence of Time movement, political scientist and philosopher Sergey Kurginyan said on July 25 on the program Conversation with a Sage on radio Zvezda.
Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan’s policy looks extremely ambiguous. Pashinyan is definitely not only Turkish agent but also Azerbaijani, the political scientist noted.
After Pashinyan’s statement that “there is a real Armenia and there is a historical one” it should be understood that if there is no historical Armenia then there is only “a vilayet of the Ottoman Empire or a province of Persia,” Sergey Kurginyan stressed. If they want “simply to live their lives” it will result in the death of their country.
“I had a very bitter feeling towards all this, multiplied by the fact that it was absolutely clear that, on the one hand, the Armenian authorities themselves were surrendering to the Turks, Azerbaijan, whoever else. And on the other hand, they were groveling before the West. Thus, it is a dead end. And because I understood well how some Armenian leaders, when they are really affected, can organize events shifting the power, it was clear that they did not want to do that, and that such events are initiated when some international actors need them,” the political scientist noted.
He added that Armenia was “totally suppressed by Pashinyan, a miserable, disgustingly anti-Armenian person,” but it kept him.
“When people do not like it they know what to do. And Karabakh knew what it should do… Therefore, there was some kind of a very bad situation there,” the political scientist explained.
