The Silicon Valley believes that the stake on Man has been lost, and it makes its stake on artificial intelligence, the leader of the Essence of Time movement, political scientist and philosopher Sergey Kurginyan said on July 11 on the program Conversation with a Sage on radio Zvezda.
According to the analyst, US billionaire Peter Thiel is becoming involved in the game named “strategic conceptualization.” The point was who would become involved in it first. Neither in Russia nor in the US there are groups focused on conceptualization, but in the US they have already realized that nothing can be done without that.
“The Soviet Union had a group responsible for conceptualization. Whatever I could say about Suslov’s Marxism, and I have said a lot of critical words about it, as no one else did. Nevertheless, they had it inside these groups, because they had to do it due to their official position. You are waging a conceptual war against the United States, you are a superpower and they are a superpower, so you have to say something. And there were people who could say it,” Sergey Kurginyan said.
According to him, this kind of work was not simple at all. He noted that an imperial culture, and the USSR was an empire, itself promoted conceptualizers, but that entire group is already dead.
“And now they are trying to produce something like that, but they fail, because it is easy to destroy but extremely hard to restore,” the political scientist noted.
He stressed that similar processes are unfolding in the US; however, they very quickly understood that it is absolutely necessary.
“And Peter Thiel, a person alien to me in every aspect, i.e. in his moral type and his technocratic insanity, he has still taken the risk of attempting this. Maybe he will have extremely complicated relations with Musk or maybe not, but he, speaking on behalf of the Silicon Valley that Musk will rely on, said, ‘We can see the key thing. We can see a global stagnancy, which, roughly speaking, means that there are no Einsteins. We have none at all! Everything has become small. All these Nobel Prize winners are second-class persons,” the analyst said.
Further, the political scientist noted that, according to Thiel, if an Einstein appeared today, the scientific community would not accept him. Thiel also says that everything has become bureaucratized and stalled, people do not fly to Mars, and they do not explore outer space. He points out stagnancy in the strategic problems of longevity and immortality. According to Thiel, there is no breakthrough and no global brilliancy. And he believes that either the US will have a voice or it will lose any chances for global governance.
“There is a renowned interviewer in The New York Times who published his conversation with Thiel entitled ‘Peter Thiel and Antichrist.’ This is the scale. And he says, ‘A global state without development is Antichrist.’ Exactly global, stalled, extremely bureaucratized, seeking stability alone, which is although necessary beyond any doubt, but at the cost of non-development,” Kurginyan said.
“This is Antichrist. An alternative to Antichrist, according to Peter Thiel, is Armageddon. Either this energy erupts resulting in this global chaos or it is all peace and quiet (not blessed although) with this Antichrist inside, which will establish a stabilized version of a disaster. A global one,” he added.
The political scientist stressed that all this is discussed in detail and on behalf of the entire Silicon Valley. According to him the Silicon Valley says that because there will be no new Einsteins, but we need them as the only way to escape Antichrist, perhaps artificial intelligence will give us new Einsteins.
“The stake on Man has been lost, and a stake on robot begins. And it is not a robot to replace some migrant workers but a robot to make the discoveries we need… But we have no Einsteins, so robots are our last hope,” Kurginyan commented the position of the Silicon Valley.
