Scientists are reluctant to discuss the possibility that there are obviously moments in human thinking that suggest a connection to something greater, political scientist, philosopher, leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said on July 11 on the Conversation with a Sage program on the Zvezda radio channel.
According to the political scientist, modern technocrats mainly focus on the quality of operational thinking when studying the human thinking process and developing computer technologies in this field.
However, besides operational thinking, a human being is capable of deep, archetypal and strategic thinking, which is in no way connected with operational thinking, the leader of the Essence of Time movement noted.
“And while they are measuring operational thinking, strategic thinking will get activated, and everything will be overturned. Why aren’t we trying to study this? Why aren’t we talking about the fact that a human thinks not only with the brain?” Sergey Kurginyan posed a question.
During the program, the philosopher also posed the question as to why scientists do not discuss the obvious moments of connecting to something greater in the thinking process, and why they do not address the issues of energy. As an example of such connection to something greater, the political scientist cited Maxim Gorky’s work The Girl and the Death, about which Joseph Stalin wrote that “this thing is more powerful than Goethe’s Faust – love defeats death.”
“If Stalin is right and love defeats death, then the absence of energy indicates that death defeats love. Was it not without reason that one of the most prominent Vatican leader [Pope John Paul II – translator’s note] had once said – ‘we created a civilization of death on the ruins of communism? He said exactly this! And he was the one who opposed communism!” Sergey Kurginyan said.
