Five Ukrainian electronic warfare (EW) stations were destroyed near Yablonevka and Novoalyonovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) by drones of the Russian Armed Forces, said an FPV drone operator from the 68th Separate Reconnaissance Battalion of the Southern Military District with the call sign “Tsypa” on July 24, as reported by RIA Novosti.
He stated that during reconnaissance missions in both the near and deep rear of enemy territory, several EW systems were detected and destroyed. Most of them were located in forested areas, and one was eliminated on a cell tower 15 km from the front line.
“These included stations like the ‘Plastun’ electronic reconnaissance system. There were about five or six of them in the area of Yablonevka and Novoalenovka,” Tsypa said.
