Billionaire Elon Musk’s exit from the US president’s team is a great failure of Donald Trump welcomed by the entire Democratic Party, the leader of the Essence of Time movement, political scientist and philosopher Sergey Kurginyan said on July 11 on the program Conversation with a Sage on radio Zvezda.
Trump could not sort out his relations with Musk in such a violent manner. “He is a really major figure,” Kurginyan stressed.
The philosopher explained that the US is approaching midterm elections while Trump’s position is weak. “He needs a complete consolidation of his core electoral resource, he needs an offensive. He could do everything to avoid this conflict, but he failed to do so,” Kurginyan stressed.
Another aspect of what has happened, according to the political scientist, is that “Musk would have never initiated this conflict without a go-ahead from his masters. Never!”
The reasons of the conflict that analysts mention, i.e. Musk’s criticism against Trump’s financial policy cancelling the grants for electric cars, which became a blow on the billionaire’s business, do not matter, the philosopher stressed. “Until his masters give him a go-ahead, this is impossible,” Kurginyan explained.
According to the political scientist, the conflict between Musk and Trump is a pivotal issue because the billionaire has 211 million followers listening to him.
“He is an ace! He is a person possessing his own media and certain persistence in this issue,” Kurginyan stressed.
The political scientist noted that Musk is still the richest person on the globe in spite of his financial losses of the recent months. “For Musk, losing 50 billion is something he can tolerate,” the analyst explained.
“He has enough money of his own; he is not a millionaire, not a multi-millionaire, and not a billionaire; he is a multi-billionaire. He has media as well as money,” the political scientist described Musk’s position.
He added that Musk “would never have gone that length without his masters, and it is not his money that he wants to use for the elections. He wants something different.”
Therefore, those who have been in the PR and elections business all their lives, who understand that this process is really pivotal, say, “He could barely make it, this Trump. Now, if even this tiny piece is taken away, who will win? The Democratic Party will,” the political scientist explained.
Thus, the Democratic Party should buy all the expensive champagne to drink toasts to Musk, the philosopher noted.
