The Russian Supreme Court granted a request to ban the activities of the “International Satanist Movement” (organization banned Russia), the press service of the Russian Prosecutor General’s Office informed on July 23.
According to the agency, the “International Satanist Movement” (organization banned Russia) — recognized as extremist by a Supreme Court ruling — is closely linked to radical nationalism and neo-Nazism.
Members of the banned movement conduct occult rituals, including ritual murders, and commit crimes against minors, the Prosecutor General’s Office noted.
It is also reported that participants of the “International Satanist Movement” (organization banned Russia) incite the destruction, defilement, and desecration of Orthodox churches and cultural heritage sites.
On December 4, the activities of the international organization The Satanic Temple (organization banned Russia), founded in 2012 in the United States and with branches in the USA, Germany, Canada, Australia, Finland, and other countries, were declared undesirable in Russia. According to some reports, the organization has millions of followers.
