The US preparation for the strikes on Iran took place during the negotiations between the countries, and this was how the US again demonstrated its gangster essence and falsity, the leader of the Essence of Time movement, political scientist and philosopher Sergey Kurginyan said on June 27 on the program Conversation with a Sage on radio Zvezda.
“No one did as much for Iran to realize that no agreements can ever be reached with those who are always eager to make an act of perfidy. Indeed, in addition to Trump’s showing off, there is direct evidence of unlimited perfidy,” Kurginyan stressed. He indicated that the US admitted that the strikes on the nuclear facilities were already being prepared when the discussion of the parameters of the nuclear deal with Iran was ongoing.
“Isn’t this a lesson for all of us, including Iran, that they can negotiate with us about wonderful deals… But they are bandits. They have been bandits for a long time, this is a tradition. They are gangsters. What kind of honor can we talk about? What kind of a deal? How can we believe anything after that?” the leader of Essence of Time stressed.
The political scientist noted that Iran, in its turn, always carefully measures potential reaction to its retaliation strikes. “Khamenei’s approach can be seen. This is his style. No spare move. ‘Strike this base. Warn them first, but then strike it. If we do not strike, radicals will begin to overthrow us. If we strike too strong we will make them [the US] angry. But we do not want to make them angry. We want to focus on Israel and to make this guy [Donald Trump] leave us alone,’” Kurginyan explained.
As for Trump, in fact he failed to reach his goals. “Did he tell a lie to them about his success? He did. Did he want to use it to improve his poll numbers? But his poll numbers have dropped!” the political scientist noted.
He stressed that if the US and Israel had really wanted to change the regime in Iran, they would have relied on Iran’s internal factors. “If they had wanted to do something, they would have pandered to the rural population, they would have pandered to the moderate population, and they would have promised something to Iran. And they would have aligned all that with its absolutely safe nuclear program,” the leader of Essence of Time concluded.
