Iran does not possess a nuclear weapon, and it was not planning to build one, political scientist, philosopher, the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said on June 27 on the Conversation with a Sage program on the Zvezda radio channel.
“Everything, just everything, that Israel has done to Iran is vile, nasty, insane, and stupid. No one was planning to build an atomic bomb,” the political scientist emphasized.
Sergey Kurginyan pointed to the statement made by Tulsi Gabbard, the US Director of National Intelligence, about powerful globalist forces that want a nuclear war and plan to survive it in their bunkers. The political scientist noted that Gabbard is a very specific woman, both a conservative and a religious fanatic, and her statement was very precise, but she was quickly “silenced”.
“She is an honest person, unlike Hillary Clinton or someone else. She is who she is. And at first, she talked about all these [forces], about how everyone wants a nuclear war (and I know that this is true), and that there are these bomb shelters, underground towns and so on, where they plan to survive it. No one forced her to say this,” Kurginyan added.
In addition, Gabbard said that the US has no information about Iran’s nuclear program, which allegedly poses a threat Israel. But Donald Trump immediately refuted her words, saying that he knows about the nuclear program, the political scientist recalled.
Sergey Kurginyan emphasized that Iran responded to the US bombing strikes “in a very restrained manner,” and Iran’s religious leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is alive and well and continues to lead the country. The philosopher also recalled that Khamenei has issued a fatwa, which states that the production, accumulation and use of nuclear weapons is prohibited by Islam.
Speaking about the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) leadership, the political scientist noted that these people are “scared and frightened by the Iran-Iraq War.” “And they are traumatized by this war. This entire older generation of the IRGC is traumatized by the Iran-Iraq War and is doing everything possible to ensure that there won’t be another one. This is a generation act as pacifists,” he said.
The leader of the Essence of Time movement believes that Iran could not create nuclear weapons exactly for these very reasons.
