The US strike on Iran prompted several countries to express readiness to provide Tehran with nuclear weapons, stated Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev on June 22, according to RIA Novosti.
Medvedev noted that Washington’s overnight attack on three Iranian sites led to increased international support for Iran. “What did the Americans achieve with their nighttime strike on three locations in Iran?.. A number of countries are now ready to directly supply Iran with their own nuclear arsenal,” Medvedev wrote.
On June 22, the United States launched strikes on nuclear facilities in Natanz, Fordow, and Isfahan. US President Donald Trump stated that the operation was aimed at curbing Tehran’s nuclear capabilities. He emphasized that Iran must cease hostilities or face more serious consequences.
