Russia defends Iran’s right to a peaceful atom not in words but in deeds, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a plenary session of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum on June 20.
He noted that Russia has built a nuclear reactor in Bushehr. The president also added that contracts have been signed for the construction of two more nuclear reactors.
“And we, despite the complexity of the situation, despite the danger certain, we continue this work,” – said Putin.
The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum runs from June 18 to 21.
