The nuclear facility in Natanz, Iran, has suffered only superficial damage, with no radiation leaks observed, said Mohammad Eslami, head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI). Eslami announced that there was no serious damage to the nuclear facility in Natanz as a result of the Israeli strikes and no radiation leaks.
“It is good that the damage was only superficial. We had no casualties. There were also no radiation leaks that could cause concern among the population. There was also no serious damage. But we are currently assessing it,” Eslami said.
Earlier, a number of media outlets reported information about radiation leaks inside the nuclear facility.
