The Anglo-Saxons are not the only ones who act against Russia; the countries of the Romano-Germanic group are not Russia’s friends either, political scientist, philosopher, and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said on May 30 on the Conversation with a Sage program on the Zvezda radio channel.
In particular, Germany, which could be Russia’s closest ally for the benefit of both countries. Instead, not only fails to fulfill such a role but has recently taken steps to escalate the Ukrainian conflict.
“Surely, Germany is Russia’s natural ally considering the fundamental global trends. Germany should have been in close interaction with Russia, and there were efforts made in this direction. However, we fought two bloodiest world wars with Germany, and this, too, took place. So, does this natural closeness really work?” Sergey Kurginyan said.
He recalled that German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, who is not an Anglo-Saxon, has recently made statements regarding longer-range missile strikes, and this is no coincidence.

On May 26, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz announced that Germany, following the UK, France and the US, had lifted all restrictions on the range of weapons transferred to Ukraine.
According to him, the Ukrainian militants can now strike deep into Russian territory and they have to be supplied with such weapons. On May 29, in an interview with ZDF channel, Merz stated that he is ready to approve the transfer of long-range Taurus cruise missiles to Ukraine.
