Russian troops have reached the western border of the DPR and are continuing their advance in the Dnepropetrovsk region, according to a press release from the Russian Ministry of Defense on June 11.
It is noted that units of the “Center” group continue to advance deep into enemy defenses.
“Units of the 55th Motorized Rifle Brigade have reached the western border of the Donetsk People’s Republic and, together with assault units of the 90th Tank Division, are pursuing offensive operations in the Dnepropetrovsk region,” the statement said.
The “East” group has also reached the western border of the DPR. Military units are advancing in the Dnepropetrovsk region.
It should be noted that on June 8, units of the Russian army entered the territory of the Dnepropetrovsk region. The operation was led by the 90th Tank Division, the “Center” group, equipped with modernized T-72BZ tanks with Arena-M active protection systems. The offensive continues.
