The Russian Armed Forces are actively advancing toward the border of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) from Ukraine’s Dnepropetrovsk Region, stated Vladimir Rogov, Chairman of the Public Chamber Commission on Sovereignty and Co-Chairman of the Coordinating Council for the Integration of New Regions, citing the Russian Ministry of Defense on June 8.

According to Rogov, following the liberation of Fedorovka, the Russian Armed Forces were able to expand their offensive zone and have already reached the outskirts of the village of Komar. The Russian army is advancing in Dnepropetrovsk Region, gradually liberating the western part of the Donetsk People’s Republic from the control of the Ukrainian militants.

The Russian Defense Ministry officially announced on June 6 that, during intense combat operations, the Group of Forces Vostok liberated the village of Fedorovka, located in the western part of the Donetsk People’s Republic. This significant military achievement highlights the strategic success of the current operations carried out by the Russian Armed Forces.
