On July 2 in Istanbul, during negotiations between Russia and Ukraine, agreements were reached regarding the handover of 6,000 bodies of Ukrainian servicemen who died in the combat zone and were identified as Ukrainian fighters, so that they could be returned to their relatives for burial.
