Russia has patented and is implementing the launch of drones from an orbital station, Denis Manturov, Head of Russia’s Industry and Trade Ministry and first deputy Prime minister of the Russian Government, told the Council on Strategic Development and National Projects on June 6.
By 2030 Russia should make the transition to its own orbital station. This will be done module by module, Manturov said.
The station will be serviced by drones. The Russian station will become the world’s first platform-drone.
