The decision to resign after the strike on the Ukrainian military training center was announced by Commander of the Ukrainian Ground Forces Mikhail Drapaty on June 1 on his Telegram channel.
He wrote that he considers himself personally responsible for the strike on the training unit, which eliminated 12 militants, and has decided to resign.
As a reminder, the strike on the Ukrainian military training unit was reported on the same day, June 1. Twelve militants were reported killed and 60 wounded.
A commission has been set up to investigate the attack, and an official investigation has been launched.
