Kurginyan: Visit of Chinese leader to the Victory Parade in Moscow is of great importance

28.05.2025, Moscow.

The world is preparing for an era of wars, which makes Chinese leader Xi Jinping’s visit to the Victory Parade in Moscow of immense significance, political scientist, philosopher, and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said on May 16 on the Conversation with a Sage program on the Zvezda radio channel.

“Preparations are underway for a global war. We are entering the era of wars,” Sergey Kurginyan emphasized. He noted that diplomatic maneuvering usually precedes wars.

“And in the context of this maneuvering, Xi Jinping’s visit to Moscow for the Victory Day celebration, and Putins announced visit to celebrate the victory over Japanese militarism is a major event,” the political scientist noted.

Xi Jinping’s action is a major development, since “it shows how he intends to play,” the philosopher explained. PRC’s leader does not have absolute power in the country and China will act according to its own interests, “and if profits are large, then we could witness any form of revised strategy,” Kurginyan noted.

However, Xi Jinping shows:  he is not distancing himself from the Russians. Putin shows: Russia is not distancing itself from China. These relations, often described as exceptionally good unprecedently good are, in fact, incredibly complex. Incredibly complex! But Russia has cards that allow it to maintain these relations,” the political scientist emphasized.

The philosopher noted that in China they still value symbols, so the visit of the country’s top leader to the Kremlin, when the enemy is threatening with bombing, is an event of enormous significance.

Now Putin says: I will visit too.And since the Korean card is already on the table, it is absolutely clear that all of Trump’s games will have limited significance in relation to us. And this unity will be very strong,” Sergey Kurginyan said.

But this does not mean that the strategic outlook will not reveal a number of fundamental constants that are unlikely to make this Chinese trajectory an irrevocable process, in a sense, it will join us and thats it,” the political scientist explained.
