The order portfolio for Russian military equipment amounts to tens of billions of dollars, Vladimir Putin said at a meeting of the commission for military-technical cooperation with foreign countries on May 23.
“The portfolio of orders for Russian military products is now serious – it is tens of billions of dollars, and it is necessary to actively increase the volume of export supplies,” Putin said.
According to the Russian president, the development of military-technical cooperation should be seen as an important tool for the technological renewal of the country’s army and navy.
Vladimir Putin emphasized that the main and urgent goal remains the supply of everything necessary to the units and divisions involved in the special military operation.
The head of state had earlier instructed to speed up the development and introduction of robotic complexes and laser systems, emphasizing the importance of looking into the future.
