Russian President Vladimir Putin visited Kursk region. This happened for the first time since its complete liberation, the Kremlin press service reported on May 21.
“During the working trip, the President met with representatives of volunteer organizations. There was also a meeting of the head of state with the interim governor of the Kursk region Alexander Khinshtein,” the press service said.
Before that, Vladimir Putin visited Kursk region in March.
Earlier it was reported that another attempt to break through to the territory of Kursk region by Ukrainian armed formations turned out to be a failure with heavy losses of personnel of elite units.
