The unique training center of the Zaporozhye NPP has been repeatedly attacked by the Ukrainian troops, the station’s press service said in its Telegram channel on May 21.
“Today the Ukrainians repeatedly attacked the unique training center of the Zaporozhye NPP,” the report said.
According to ZNPP, the strikes hit the roof of the building “G” of the training center, where the unique full-scale reactor hall simulator in the world is located.
No one was injured in the incident, no serious damage was recorded. The station called the attacks a terrorist attack threatening the security of the facility.
The training center is used for ongoing training and advanced training of NPP employees. The building is located in close proximity to the main site of the plant, which increases the risks in case of repeated attacks.
