Russian soldiers captured a group of foreign mercenaries from the Mozart PMC in the village of Novoandreyevka, Zaporozhye Region, according to Sergey Lebedev, coordinator of the Nikolaev underground, who wrote about the event on his Telegram channel on May 19.
“Result: the destruction of a Mozart PMC company (foreign mercenaries). Evidence: captured documents and trophy radios. ✔️ Enemy losses: 23 killed, 7 captured (citizens of the UK and Canada),” Lebedev wrote.
Novoandreyevka is located west of Orekhov.
In addition, a command post of Ukraine’s 65th Mechanized Brigade with 15 officers was destroyed in the Gulay Pole sector. The destruction was confirmed using an Orlan-30 UAV.
Lebedev noted that over 420 strikes were carried out against enemy positions in the Zaporozhye direction in a single day.
