The West has spent about $550 billion for supporting Kiev and conducting military operations, Russian Foreign Ministry Ambassador-at-Large for Ukrainian Regime Crimes Rodion Miroshnik said at a briefing in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, on May 14.
“The Westerners have spent about $550 billion to support Ukraine and conduct hostilities,” the diplomat said. He emphasized that the United States treats the conflict in Ukraine as its burden.
On May 14 and 15, Rodion Miroshnik will give a course of lectures on the Ukrainian crisis at the Russian House in Bishkek. He will talk about the origins of the Ukrainian crisis, the goals of the inhabitants of Donetsk and Lugansk and ways of possible resolution of the conflict. Miroshnik is an expert on the situation in Ukraine.
The diplomat after 2014 was the representative of the LPR in the political subgroup of the Contact Group on the settlement of the conflict in Donbass. Before the LPR’s joining Russia, he served as ambassador of the Lugansk People’s Republic to the Russian Federation.
