Lieutenant colonel from Kuzbass exposes neo-Nazi atrocities in Ukraine

08.05.2025, Novokuznetsk.

Neo-Nazis are willing to kill victims simply for not hating Russia, stated Mikhail Koloda, a retired lieutenant colonel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and instructor at the Patriot military-sports park, during a presentation of the multi-authored monograph Ukrainism at the Siberian State Industrial University (SibSIU, Novokuznetsk) on April 29, as reported by Rossa Primavera News Agency.

Koloda shared with students his firsthand encounter with Georgian neo-Nazis occupying the village of Zaitsevo in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), where he had traveled on personal initiative to honor his ancestors in Donbass.

“The first thing they did upon entering the village was eliminate all male residents. They ordered men to kill their own — and when they refused, they executed them,” Koloda said. “When we liberate our cities, like Kremennaya, we initially find only elderly women. A month later, women with children return, then men. Civilian life gradually resumes. If we were occupiers, as Banderites claim, this wouldn’t happen.”

He acknowledged meeting Donbass residents skeptical of Russia but noted that the conduct of Russian Armed Forces personnel and the reconstruction of liberated cities “completely shifts their worldview” in favor of Russia.

According to the retired officer, Ukrainian army artillery strikes on civilian infrastructure and punitive actions by Banderites leave a particularly strong impact.

“They find Russian passports on locals, tear them in half, and nail them to their heels with spikes — instantly disabling them. Once the Russian army liberates an area, neo-Nazis deem its inhabitants ‘no longer Ukrainian.’ They’ll kill the people just for being Russian,” Koloda stated.

He emphasized Russia’s multiethnic identity, where pure-blooded nationalities are rare due to centuries of intermixing. Thus, neo-Nazis murder victims merely for lacking extreme hatred toward Russia.

The monograph Ukrainism, edited by political scientist and Essence of Time‘s leader Sergey Kurginyan, examines this anti-historical, brutal, and artificial construct weaponized against Russia since the 16th century. Originally published in 2017, its expanded second edition (2023) incorporates materials on Russia’s special military operation.
