Pakistan lacks ammunition for war with India due to supplies to Ukraine

05.05.2025, Islamabad.

Pakistan experience a shortage of artillery shells due to their delivery to the Ukrainian militants, the ANI news agency reported on May 5.

According to journalists, in the event of a serious escalation of armed conflict with India, Pakistan’s ammunition stockpile would last only four days.

Earlier, Pakistan’s ambassador to Moscow, Muhammad Khalid Jamali, stated that Russia “can play a very significant role in de-escalating tensions between India and China — Pakistan’s ‘nuclear neighbors’.”

The diplomat also noted that Russia maintains “very good” relations with Pakistan and is a strategic partner for India.
