Kurginyan assesses Trump’s first 100 days in office

30.04.2025, Moscow.

The first 100 days of Donald Trump’s presidency revealed that his term would be neither long nor smooth, political scientist, philosopher, and leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said on April 26 on the Right to Know! program on TVC.

Kurginyan noted that Trump is still allowed to “rebel”“they’re letting him run around… while carefully ensuring he stays on the correct trajectory and ends up exactly where they want him.”

However, according to the political scientist, Trump has become “quite entangled,” his approval ratings have dropped, and his political opponents have already started to act against him.

“Those who expect Trump’s political term to be long and smooth – they may have solid reasons to think so, but I must state my position. I hold the diametrically opposite view. And the first hundred days have confirmed that,” Kurginyan stated.

Nonetheless, the political scientist pointed out that Trump still remains a leader. His main advantage lies in the fact that his opponents have neither anyone nor anything to oppose him.

“The whole problem is that the US Democratic Party lacks both leaders and humanistic agenda to oppose him. Trump’s strength lies in the weakness of his opponents – in the political, public, and open weakness of the US Democratic Party,” concluded the Essence of Time leader.
