India will always welcome the US as a desirable partner, but will not allow it to dictate the country’s geostrategic, geopolitical, economic agenda, philosopher, analyst, the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said on April 4 on the Conversation with a Sage program on the Zvezda radio channel.
“The US will not have a breakthrough in the relationship with India which would allow them to control country’s agenda: in geostrategic, geopolitical, and economic terms. But the US will always be a desirable partner. Indians will try to take from it everything possible and so on,” Kurginyan explained.
The Indian leadership will gratefully take everything that the US offers, even the very problematic F-35 fighters. When the US offered India to buy these fighters, the Indian military leadership agreed, although experts understood that this aircraft is expensive, prone to malfunctions, and also has something built into them that can make the machine inoperative at the request of the manufacturers.
Traditionally, India has purchased most of its arms from Russia. Thun pointing to the US “courtship” of India, the Indian leadership will demand preferences and discounts on Russia’s weapons. But this will not be the main thing, the main thing is that India will develop its own sixth-generation aircraft.
“And what does India say? It says: ‘Yes, we will take it.’ It says to the Russians: ‘You see, we are taking US-made machines? Give us new preferences. Otherwise, we will take their goods.” And what is inside all this? There is a decision to develop a military-industrial program that will create its own sixth-generation aircraft sooner than the US will,” Sergey Kurginyan explains.
Indians continue to invest in their own military-industrial complex, because they understand that the 21st century will be a century of wars, and they must be prepared for this, the analyst concluded.
