The Russian Armed Forces launched a massive missile strike on Kiev overnight, the Telegram channel WarGonzo by military correspondent Semyon Pegov informed on April 24.
The author cites Ukrainian media, which stated that the Ukrainian capital was subjected to one of the most extensive missile attacks from both air and ground during the night.
Initially, around 40 Geran drones were involved in the assault, followed by missile launches.
Ukrainian media reported that the railway infrastructure in Kiev was targeted. Additionally, strikes were reported in Pavlograd and Kharkov.
Ukrainian authorities noted that air defense systems were active in Kharkov and Kiev during the night, with air raid sirens sounding in both cities.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, on the night of April 24, Russian air defense forces shot down 45 drones over Crimea and the Black Sea.
