Kurginyan: The US has lost the struggle for the Great South

The US has lost the struggle for the Great South, the leader of the Essence of Time movement, political scientist and philosopher Sergey Kurginyan said on April 4 on the program Conversation with a Sage on radio Zvezda.

According to the political scientist, the struggle for the Great South is going between China and India, while the United States has lost this struggle.

“The conflict is around the question who will possess the South, i.e. whether it will be Chinese or Indian. The US has lost it. These raising countries will never accept the role that the US offers them, while the US cannot offer them a different role. These countries strongly suspect that the US will not allow them to get out of poverty, and that in this issue the US does not care whether it is the Indians, or the Chinese, or Brazil. It does not matter. [What they want is] not to allow them to make a breakthrough,” Kurginyan said.

“But this idea of a breakthrough into a new life and prosperity is definitely very strong. Extremely strong. They are full of the drive for this breakthrough, this ascension up the hill of prosperity,” the leader of Essence of Time stressed.

The countries of the catching-up development, including the countries of the Great South, hope that their hard work and the development of their industrial potential will bring them to a life that an average American has, i.e. a house and several cars per family and a respective level of consumption.

However, the US understands that resources are not enough for this, so it makes everything it can to prevent the development of the third world.
