Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russia is cornered from a security point of view, but European leaders did not want to listen to him, Russian leader’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov told Point on April 23.
“I tell you that neither Macron nor other European leaders wanted to listen to Putin when he told them that Russia had been cornered from a security point of view and that this was unacceptable,” Peskov said.
While the United States and Russia are talking about peace talks on the Ukrainian conflict, Europeans are demanding war, Dmitry Peskov, the Russian leader’s spokesman, said.
“The Americans and we are now talking peace, while the Europeans are demanding war. We want to achieve our goals. Whether peacefully or by war, we will achieve them,” Peskov said in an interview with the Point publication.
