The strike by the Russian Armed Forces eliminated the production of a new missile system in Odessa Region, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated on April 21 during his speech at the “Service” award ceremony.
The leader of the state clarified that the facility, located in a village area near Odesa, was formally registered as agricultural, but in fact was used for the development and testing of weaponry.
“The Kiev authorities, together with foreign curators and assistants, tried to organize not only the production but also the testing of a new missile system,” the Russian leader explained.
Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that on April 18, the testing range for the Ukrainian Sapsan system and Norwegian NASAMS air defense systems was completely destroyed by precision weapons and UAVs.
The ministry confirmed the successful completion of the combat mission with the elimination of all targets.
