The United Aircraft Corporation delivered a batch of Su-34 fighter-bombers to the Russian Air Force, the press service of the Russian defense concern Rostec announced on April 19.

“The United Aircraft Corporation (part of the state corporation Rostec) delivered a batch of new Su-34 fighter-bombers to the Russian Defense Ministry,” stated the state corporation.

The aircraft delivered to the troops underwent a full cycle of testing and have already arrived at their deployment airfield, the press service noted.

“The Su-34 forms the core of the strike power of Russia’s frontline aviation and is the best aircraft in its class,” Vladimir Artyakov, First Deputy Director General of Rostec, said.

He explained that frontline aviation is solving critical tasks in the special military operation zone and demonstrates high effectiveness. The state corporation also stated that Russian aircraft factories are ramping up the production pace of this aircraft, which is in high demand by the Russian Armed Forces.

“The production of one of the most in-demand aircraft – the Su-34 frontline bomber – has more than doubled over the past two years,” the press service quoted UAC Director General Vadim Badekha as saying.
