Leaders of all CIS countries will arrive to celebrate Victory Day in Moscow this year, Commonwealth Secretary-General Sergey Lebedev said at a meeting of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly Council on April 17.
“I am happy and pleased to announce, as you are, that all CIS heads of state will attend the celebrations in Moscow on May 9,” Lebedev said.
Earlier, European Union diplomatic chief Kaja Kallas said that the Victory Day trip to Moscow by European representatives “will be taken seriously.” Despite this, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fitzo, Serbian leader Aleksandar Vucic and President of the Republic of Srpska within Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Dodik confirmed their visit.
