Russian Armed Forces struck the venue in Sumy where the meeting of NATO officers, the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, and representatives of nationalist battalions met, stated the coordinator of the pro-Russian underground movement Sergey Lebedev on April 13 on his Telegram channel.
“Direct hit… In one of the buildings where the meeting was held, there were NATO officers, GUR officers, and representatives of the nationalist battalions,” the underground coordinator wrote.
Earlier that same day, reports emerged of an air raid alert in Sumy followed by two powerful explosions. Local media reported strikes in the city center.
