Ukrainian militants and residents of Sumy region organized “tours” for robberies in Kursk region, Maxim Grigoriev, head of the International Public Tribunal on the Crimes of the Ukrainian troops, said at a press conference on April 9.

In Sumy, tours were being sold for looting Sudzha. Passes were issued that allowed unhindered entry to the territory, to choose a house and take out anything,” Grigoryev told a press conference at the Rossiya Segodnya media group.

The peaceful population of Kursk Region was subjected to total looting. Money, jewelry, electronics, furniture, groceries, cars and even children’s toys were stolen. According to local residents, the participants of the “tours” acted with impunity, they were not checked on their way back.

Grigoriev presented the report “War crimes of the Ukrainian neo-Nazi armed forces on the territory of Kursk region“, where he described in detail the scale of looting.

Experts note that such actions violate international humanitarian law and are classified as war crimes. “Organizing looting of civilians is not only a crime against humanity, but also an indicator of the degradation of military ethics,” the analysts commented.

Residents of the Kursk region who survived the events confirmed information about systematic raids by looters. The tribunal plans to use the collected evidence for further investigation and condemnation of the crimes of the Ukrainian military.
