The Russian Armed Forces already evacuated tens of thousands of bodies of killed Ukrainian fighters from Kursk Region, TASS informed on April 10, citing a source in the Russian defense agencies.
“Currently, Russian servicemen are also engaged in evacuating the bodies of Ukrainian fighters. The count is in the tens of thousands,” the source said.
He added that the Kiev regime made no attempt to retrieve its soldiers’ remains.
“Many Ukrainian fighters died from their wounds after being abandoned by their ‘brothers-in-arms’,” the source noted.
Earlier today, RIA Novosti stated, based on its own estimates, that maintaining a 60,000-strong Ukrainian military grouping in Kursk Region for eight months cost Kyiv $2.4 billion.
