Iran sent an official response to US President Donald Trump’s letter addressed to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei through intermediaries in Oman, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated on March 27 in an interview with IRNA.
Araghchi clarified that the response consists of two documents. The first outlines Tehran’s perspective on the current global situation, while the second analyzes and comments on the points raised in Trump’s letter.
On March 7, Trump wrote on his Truth Social page that he had sent a message to Khamenei proposing that Iran resume negotiations on its nuclear program.
In response to the US president’s statement, Khamenei emphasized that Iran has no intention of engaging in dialogue with the USA, as Washington is solely interested in its own plans and benefits.
