Russian Armed Forces launch a large-scale offensive in Kursk Region

08.03.2025, Kursk.

The Russian Armed Forces launched a large-scale offensive along all directions in Kursk Region, Deputy Head of the Main Military-Political Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Defense and commander of the Akhmat special forces, Major General Apti Alaudinov wrote on March 8 on Telegram.

“All units along the Kursk section of the front have launched a large-scale offensive,” he wrote, adding that the enemy is retreating from fortified positions, and the advance of Russian forces is proceeding very well.

According to Alaudinov, “Russian warriors… have decided to give a gift to our women— the women of Russia.” He assured, “We are striking the enemy and will ensure that they regret ever setting foot on our land.”

On August 6, 2024, Ukrainian armed units launched an incursion into Russia’s Kursk Region, advancing toward the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant. With this move, the Kiev regime debunked its own narrative about Russia’s supposed aggression, as it began destroying villages and towns, killing peaceful civilians living there.
