The European Anti-Fraud Office demanded the return of €91 million that was supposed to be used to purchase power generators for Ukraine, RMF 24 wrote on February 22.
It is reported that the EU completed an investigation into the disappearance of the large sum and recommended its return, noting that the violation occurred during the rule of the Law and Justice party.
“We maintain zero tolerance for any allegations of fraud, corruption, and misconduct in projects funded by the European Union,” the publication quoted a European Commission representative as saying.
