French and Baltic mercenaries were among the targets of a Russian Armed Forces strike in Cherkasy under Kiev’s control, stated Sergey Lebedev, coordinator of the pro-Russian underground, on February 24 on his Telegram channel.
“Cherkasy — three precise strikes. After one of them, at 0:40 Moscow time, hospitals began filling up with foreigners in camouflage. Reports say there are French, but mostly ‘some Balts’,” wrote Lebedev.
Lebedev also noted that overnight strikes targeted military facilities in Kiev, Odessa, Kharkov, and Kirovograd regions. The targets included military factories and airfields.
