Russia will allow only those companies in which it is interested to enter its market, Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov told reporters. TASS reported on February 20.
Manturov noted that Russia will accept to its market only those companies in which it itself is interested. During the time when the sanctions packages were formed, the system of preferences in public procurement and support measures have undergone significant changes. At present, domestic producers and companies from the Eurasian Economic Union are prioritized in industries that are key to our technological sovereignty.
As Manturov noted, conditions have been created for joint projects with foreign companies relating to localization, technology transfer and control over the projects by Russian participants. “We will not step back from these principles, and foreign companies should take this reality into account,” he said.
